I love Japanese anemones and have them growing in my flower borders. They are a beautiful addition to the Autumn border when mot other flowers have gone over. They look so delicate but are surprisingly hardy.
Each piece of glass that makes up the flower is hand cut, ground and copperfoiled. The markings on the flower and leaf are painted with traditional glass paint and fired in my kiln for permanence. The flower also has silver stain fired on to give the yellow centres.
